RemoveLayer ("we", "our", or "us") provides AI image cleanup tools, including background removal, object removal, and text removal. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate RemoveLayer, provide image processing features, keep accounts secure, and improve the product.
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect information such as your email address, name, profile details, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
1.2 Uploaded And Generated Content
When you use our tools, we process the images, masks, prompts, settings, generated results, thumbnails, file metadata, and related media needed to complete the requested task.
For example, Object Remover may process both the original image and the mask image you create. Background Remover and Text Remover process the uploaded image and generated output.
1.3 Billing And Credit Information
If you buy credits, subscribe, or use paid features, we may store billing records such as plan, credit balance, invoices, purchase history, refund status, and payment provider references. Payment card details are handled by third-party payment providers and are not stored by RemoveLayer.
1.4 Technical And Usage Information
We may collect device, browser, IP address, log, performance, error, cookie, and analytics information. This helps us secure the service, troubleshoot issues, estimate abuse risk, and improve tool reliability.

- Provide background removal, object removal, text removal, downloads, and generation history
- Upload, store, retrieve, and display input media, mask media, and generated results
- Manage accounts, authentication, credits, subscriptions, refunds, and support
- Prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, unauthorized access, and policy violations

3. User Content And Visibility
You keep ownership of the content you upload or generate.
- Private content: Content that is not marked public is intended for your account and service operation.
- Public content: If a feature lets you make content public and you choose to do so, that content may appear in galleries, examples, featured cases, or other public areas.
- Input media: Original images and masks may be stored with a generation so you can review how a result was created.

We do not sell your uploaded content. We do not use private uploaded images for advertising.
4. Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate RemoveLayer. These may include cloud hosting, file storage, image processing, AI model providers, analytics, email, authentication, payments, security, and customer support services.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain generation history, meet legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent abuse, and keep security records.
Retention periods may vary depending on account status, content type, billing requirements, and legal obligations. Some logs or backups may remain for a limited period after deletion.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect information. These include access controls, secure transport where applicable, provider security practices, and monitoring for misuse.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for using trusted devices and networks.
