Welcome to RemoveLayer. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, AI image cleanup tools, accounts, credits, subscriptions, downloads, and related services (the "Services").

By using RemoveLayer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Service

RemoveLayer provides browser-based AI tools for image cleanup, including background removal, object removal, and text removal. Features may include image uploads, mask creation, AI processing, result previews, downloads, generation history, credits, subscriptions, and related account tools.

We may add, remove, limit, or change features over time.

2. Eligibility And Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of images, masks, prompts, settings, generated outputs, and other content you upload or create using the Services ("User Content").

You grant RemoveLayer a limited license to host, process, store, display, reproduce, and transmit User Content as needed to provide the Services, including generation history, previews, downloads, support, security, and service improvement.

If you choose to make content public, you grant us permission to display and promote that public content in product galleries, examples, marketing pages, or related public areas. You may change visibility or remove public content where controls are available.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Having the rights needed to upload, edit, generate, download, and use your content
Reviewing generated results before relying on or publishing them
Complying with applicable laws, platform rules, and third-party rights
Keeping account access secure
Using credits, subscriptions, and downloads according to the posted rules

AI-generated and AI-edited results may be imperfect. You are responsible for deciding whether a result is suitable for your use case.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Services to:

Break the law or violate the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others
Upload or generate illegal, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or harmful content
Misrepresent generated or edited images in a way that causes harm
Bypass rate limits, credits, payment controls, security systems, or access restrictions
Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Services
Use automation, bots, or scripts without our permission
Resell or provide the Services as a competing hosted product without authorization

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

6. Credits, Subscriptions, And Payments

Some features require credits, a subscription, or another paid plan. Prices, included usage, credit estimates, and feature availability may vary by tool and may change over time.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize charges for purchases you make.

Credit usage is generally charged when a generation request is submitted or completed according to the product rules shown at the time of use. Failed generations may be handled according to the product's credit and refund logic.

7. Downloads And Commercial Use

Subject to these Terms, your plan, and applicable law, you may use downloaded results for personal or commercial projects. You are still responsible for ensuring you have rights to the original input image and that your use of the result does not violate another party's rights.

We do not guarantee that a generated or edited result is free from third-party claims.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, website, software, interface, branding, documentation, and related technology are owned by RemoveLayer or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our platform or technology to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by these Terms or with our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

RemoveLayer may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, payments, analytics, authentication, AI processing, and other functions. Your use of those features may also be subject to third-party terms or policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, perfect image quality, suitability for a particular purpose, or that generated results will meet every expectation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

11. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemoveLayer and its affiliates, team members, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to RemoveLayer for the Services giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, or USD $100 if no amount was paid.
