About RemoveLayer
About RemoveLayer
RemoveLayer is an online AI image cleanup workspace built around a simple idea: upload an image, remove what gets in the way, review the result, and download a clean asset.
Our main workflow is AI background removal for transparent PNG cutouts. We also provide dedicated tools for object removal and text removal when a photo needs more specific cleanup.
What RemoveLayer Helps You Do
RemoveLayer focuses on practical image editing jobs that come up in real production work:
- Remove image backgrounds and export transparent PNG cutouts
- Clean product photos for shops, marketplaces, ads, and catalogs
- Remove unwanted objects by painting a mask over the area to clean
- Remove visible text from images while keeping the surrounding scene natural
- Compare originals and generated results before downloading
- Keep generated assets available in your account history when you are signed in
The goal is not to replace every advanced design tool. The goal is to make the most common cleanup tasks fast, predictable, and accessible in the browser.
Who Uses RemoveLayer
RemoveLayer is built for people who need clean visuals without a long editing process:
- E-commerce sellers preparing product images
- Marketers creating ad, landing page, and social assets
- Creators cleaning up portraits, pets, food images, and lifestyle photos
- Designers and operators who need quick production-ready cutouts
- Teams that want a repeatable image cleanup workflow
How The Workflow Works
Each tool is designed around the same operating rhythm:
- Upload an image.
- Choose the focused cleanup tool for the job.
- Review the original, mask when applicable, and generated result.
- Download the finished image.
Background Remover is the primary starting point. Object Remover and Text Remover are separate workflows so each task can use the interaction that fits it best.
Content, Privacy, And Control
Your uploaded images are processed so RemoveLayer can provide the requested result. For signed-in users, generations and related input media may be stored so you can revisit previous work, download results, and manage your history.
You keep ownership of your content. We do not sell your uploaded content. We do not use private uploaded images for advertising. Public visibility is controlled separately: content is only treated as public when the product gives you a public/private option and you choose to make it public.
